Meet the Team

Having grown up in Memphis, TN, I am a Southern girl at heart. However, New England has captured my affection and has been home for 18+ years now.  I love being wife to Dan (33 years married to my best friend);  mother to 3 adult kids and their spouses whom I adore; and Gigi to our very first grandchild!  But above all else, I delight in being  a daughter of the King and I'm head over heels in love with Jesus. If I'm not sitting on my prayer porch with a friend and a cup of tea, you'll usually find me enjoying the great outdoors in New Hampshire or hanging out with my family. I love biking, hiking, kayaking, and playing board games with whoever is willing! My favorite verse is John 15:5, "I am the Vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me and I in him bears much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing." There's nothing sweeter than walking in intimacy with God. One of my greatest passions is leading people to the feet of Jesus and helping them discover the beauty of life with Him. 

Tawanda Mattei is a Florida native, wife, mother, and proud grandmother . Most of all she is a passionate follower of Jesus. She has a heart for helping people discover their God-given purpose, grow in their faith, and confidently walk in their spiritual gifts.

Through teaching, mentoring, and leadership development, Tawanda loves equipping others to lead with wisdom, integrity, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Her heart is to see lives transformed and people empowered to make a lasting impact for the Kingdom of God.

Liz Nieves lives in Tampa, Florida, with her two daughters, grandson, and extended family.  For over 30 years, she has worked as a court reporter in Florida and previously in New York, where she was born.  But the core of her identity is being a passionate follower of Jesus.  

She currently serves on her church’s prayer and freedom team and teaches in its School of Supernatural Ministry of the Crossing Bible College.

As host of The Liz Teach Podcast, Liz shares biblical encouragement and conversations that inspire healing, growth, and freedom. 

Her mission is to help families heal by impacting one person at a time and pointing people toward the abundant life found in God.

Kendra is an advocate whose passion is to see lives transformed through the love and power of Jesus Christ. Her life's mission is to lead people into a life-changing relationship with Jesus as Savior, Healer, Deliverer, and King, so they come to know they are fully seen, deeply known, and unconditionally loved by God.

Believing that true transformation begins with an encounter with the Father's love, Kendra is dedicated to helping people experience salvation, healing, freedom, and restoration. She believes that when people truly understand who God is and who they are in Him, chains are broken, hearts are healed, identity is awakened, and lives are forever changed. Through biblical teaching, discipleship, inner healing and deliverance, she desires to see everyone equipped to discover their identity in Christ,  walk in freedom, and live with courage, hope, and purpose. She believes every story can be redeemed, every heart restored, and every life transformed through the love and power of Jesus Christ.

Married for 32 years, blessed with three adult children (who are all now married to our wonderful bonus kids), and six amazing grand-babies, I believe life is best lived in community. I'm a laid-back adventurer who loves jogging, hiking, long beach days and making memories with my family and friends. I find my strength in my times of worship, prayer, and studying God's Word.  I've learned that life's greatest joy is found in 1 Corinthians 13 and that choosing to love is always the greatest adventure.

  “O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory. Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you.” – Psalm 63:1-3 

I have searched the world, and found that nothing and no one satisfies like real relationship with the Triune God. I have experienced pain, sin and suffering, and met Jesus in the midst of my honesty and questions. I met the real Jesus in a tiny prayer room over a decade ago and I have never been the same. Since then, I have experienced the privilege of following Him no matter where He calls me, which currently is with Vision New England as their Director of Prayer and Director of Network Support, and as the founder of The Living Room, a house of prayer in Henniker, NH. My passions are to create and host spaces for others to seek and encounter the same Jesus I know and love, to facilitate events that promote unity, and to prayerfully walk with people through their own questions and suffering. 

I am alive right now by the mercy of God. I live in New Hampshire with my kind husband and 3 incredible kids. I think people are beautiful and fascinating, and believe our differences should be honored and learned from. Though “hobbies” are a distant memory as a mom of 3 under the age of 8, I deeply enjoy a day with my feet in the sand and my eyes on the ocean, a delicious meal around a table surrounded by people, and a couple of quiet hours at a cozy coffee shop. 

My life verse is Jeremiah 33:3, "Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things which you do not know."

I picture a lush green hill with a dirt road to the top, met by a big shady tree. Then there is the other side of the hill not seen, the unknown. 

This has been my walk with Jesus, an adventure!

Sometimes the road up has been long and hard, but oh how sweet the rest is at the top. But most of all, He is with me in every step and in every detail, molding me into the image of His Son. On this journey, the Holy Spirit is building in me trust and faith and teaching me to rest and surrender control over the unknown (the other side of the hill), and to delight in and worship Him along the journey.

Jesus is my passion and His word is life to my being.

I have many favorite Bible verses, but the significant one for me in 2026 is Jeremiah 17:8.

“He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.”

Seeing people set free to live the abundant life Jesus died to provide for us is one of my biggest passions!  

I love to laugh, skip with joy, and spread “sonshine” wherever I go!
